Comparative Analyzing on the Policy of the Disabled for the Self-determination

Abstract

|
For the last several decades, the Korean Policy for the disabled has developed quantitatively as well as qualitatively, but it still has some problems in fulfilling the varying demands of the disabled. One of their demands is to change the policies to reflect position of the disabled. Recently, Gemany has adopted a personal budget policy that guarantees the right to Self-Determination for the disabled. Since 2007, Korea has adopted a personal assistance services also. This article will compare the various contents of the german system with korean system and further discuss the future policies for the disabled in Korea.
